Tracking Item Movements in the App

Any physical item (for example a sample bottle) that is collected during the sampling process may move between many different locations on its way to its final destination. Each of these locations form the different links in the chain of custody for that item. Items may be moved by more than one person along the way and it is very important to keep track of the movements of the items so that a clear history is present.

Remote Sampler has a dedicated set of screens that can be used to record the movements of individual items and groups of items. This functionality can be accessed using the Custody button on the device app Home screen.
