Installing the Services on the Application Server
Uninstalling and reinstalling all the services on the application server is a reasonably common task and is usually carried out whenever an update for the software is released.
The first step in the process is to uninstall the existing services by running the uninstaller that is present in the CSols folder on the application server.
Follow the dialog boxes and complete the uninstallation.
Download the latest update from the FTP server. The new installer is a single file inside the MultiService Installer zip file.
Extract the Setup.exe file into the CSols folder (ensuring that the EnvironmentConfig.ini is still present) and run Setup.exe.
Work through the installation screens ensuring to select C:\CSols as the installation folder.
Following the completion of the installation, all services on the application server will start automatically if the current application server is the machine that is identified as the live server in the LcFailover table in the Labcache database.
