Working on the Hub

There can be one or more PC based Hubs on a Hand held System. Typically, each Hub has several (perhaps many) mobile devices associated with it.

The Hub’s primary use is as a conduit for data passing to and from LIMS. Such data movements may or may not involve user interaction depending on configuration.

The Hub is also responsible for

·         Various managerial tasks – such as printing reports

·         Archiving

·         Passing messages and data from Device to Device
