To learn how to complete a select an alternative address for a standard zoned sample

In this exercise we will work through a standard customer address sample with a change of customer address.

From the Remote Sampler home screen, tap on the Samples button.


Work through the wizard in the same way as for the previous exercise. For the purposes of this exercise, make sure to select Whitley Bay as the Sample Area.

 

Continue through the wizard until the confirm address screen is reached.


Often when visiting customer properties, it will not be possible to gain access. In cases like these, tap the Decline Address button.

On the following screen, tap the Change Address button and then tap Next.

 

Remote Sampler provides a list of alternative addresses for each sample that is sent to the device. These addresses have been filtered to make sure that they are in the correct water supply zone already to ensure that they are acceptable for use. Tap the Change button to select from the list of available addresses for this sample.

 

Highlight 1, Dale Road and tap the tick button to select it. When the next screen is shown, Remote Sampler will prompt for a comment to explain why the original address could not be accessed.


Enter a comment and complete the remaining screens for this sample. The bottle barcodes for this sample are shown below.

 

Send the sample to LIMS to complete this exercise.
