Renaming Devices

Each device on that runs Remote Sampler has two names, a device name that is specific to that individual device, and a display name that is typically set to the name of the user who operates the device. To set the display name, follow the numbered steps on the image below. This will rename the tablet PC currently called Device1 to a new name: New Device Name.

Once these steps have been performed, Remote Sampler must be restarted before they will take effect.
