In many situations, items that have been collected during the sample collection process (e.g. sample bottles) may need to be moved from one location to another by a third-party courier who may not have access to the Remote Sampler app. Remote Sampler has the functionality to support this capability and allow third-party users to take responsibility for sample items and register movements in their respective chains of custody.
In order to use this functionality, all designated custody locations must be set up in the Remote Sampler system by the Remote Sampler support team. A printed QR code must be present at all locations where courier users will collect items or drop items off. See this article for more information. |
